INTOLERANCE is the first instalment of the double debut album from Glasgow veterans The Musicians of Bremen. Recorded at Gargleblast Studios in Hamilton between the months of June 2018 and September 2019, this taut collection of songs showcases fire and focus in equal measure. As it should: this the sound of an experienced band desperate to unburden themselves. Assuredness grapples with anxiety as eminent producer Andy Miller (Mogwai, Sons and Daughters, De Rosa) adds texture to an uncompromisingly gritty live sound. Lyrically, Fergus Wilkie is unwilling (or unable) to restrain himself from unleashing on a wide range of social ills. No one has all the answers, but that's all the more reason to have difficult conversations. Otherwise INTOLERANCE reigns supreme.
